Welcome to the DHHS Biology Environmental Project

The mission of the Environmental Project is to educate the students on the environment and the organisms that live within the environment. The students will become aware of global problems through their own research and also learn from their classmates. Some problems that affect our world include oil spills, acid rain, global warming and destruction of the rainforests. These problems affect the organisms that live within those environments. Many organisms become endangered and need our help to survive.

As the students research their topic using sources such as the Internet, they become aware of the problem and seek out solutions. Students will present their topics and post an abstract of their project on this site. All students will give feedback on the environmental projects posted. This gives the students an opportunity to learn from others and communicate information back to the students.

The goal is to give the world a future by educating the students.
