Mrs. J. Garcia, JAGarcia@capousd.org

            Mrs. Garcia has been teaching at Dana Hills for 4 years, and has taught Biology and Science I. As well as teaching at Dana Hills, she has also taught 8th Grade Advanced Science and 7th Grade Science at Marco Forester Middle School. Mrs. Garcia attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, CA and went on to major in Human Biology at Stanford University, and received her teaching credentials at the National University.
            Mrs. Garcia was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She is not married and she does not have any children. In her free time, Mrs. Garcia has swum competitively all her life, including her time at Stanford. She also enjoys spinning, which is a class on stationary bikes done to music, which she is currently teaching and running a spin studio. In addition to teaching, other occupations include medical sales for 5 years and an aerobics instructor for 11 years. She would like parents to spend time talking to their children.
