Knott's Berry Farm May 17
Important Information About Thursday's Knott's Trip
Seniors attending Knott's Berry Farm this Thursday: Please do not report to school before 8:15am. Our busses will not arrive on campus before 8:30am. With STAR testing going on, we request that you be respectful and not disturb those taking the test. The final bus assignment list will be posted outside the school, so you do not need to come inside. Thanks for helping us out on this.
What to Bring: Dress comfortably. The weather service is calling for temperatures in the 80s. Bring sunscreen, maybe a hat and money for food and water. The busses will be leaving the park at 5:00pm (with a special departure time of 4:00pm for the HMO students). Expect to be home around 6:00pm.
Tickets will still be on sale through the activities office through Wednesday, so it's still not too late to join the fun. Information on pricing is below.
Prices are $40 with an ASU card, $45 w/o an ASU card. This includes bus transportation. It is mandatory to ride the bus. If you have a year pass to Knott's, only the bus fee will be charged. Please fill out the permission slip below and turn it in when you are ready to sign up for a bus. Once you have signed up, there is no changing of busses.
Scheduled Senior Events
Senior Dessert is Monday April 30, 2012. It will be $10 with ASU card and $15 without. (Included in Senior Package.) The event runs from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Mall. The Senior Dessert includes a professional hypnotist show and those hoping to participate must turn in a permission slip before the event night. There will be a drawing at the beginning in order to select participants.
Senior Day at Knott's is Thursday May 17, 2012. It's $40 with an ASU card and $45 without. (Included in Senior Package.) The event runs from 8:45am-6:00pm at Knott's Berry Farm. Transportation is included in the price. It is mandatory for all students to ride the provided school bus for transportation. Those with annual Knott's Berry Farm passes will be charged $12 only for transportation.
Senior Achievement Awards will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 6:30pm in the Gym
Senior Awards are held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 and will start with a reception at 6:00pm in the Mall and begin at 6:30pm in the Gym.
Prom is Friday June 1, 2012. The cost is $75 per person with an ASU card and $90 per person without an ASU card. The prom runs from 8:00pm-11:30pm at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. This year's event features two horse-drawn carriage rides, a live swing band, karaoke, and much more.
Senior Yearbook Distribution and Pizza Party is Friday June 8, 2012. It is free with an ASU card and $2 without.
Senior Finals will be June 14th, 15th and 18th, 2012.
The Senior Brunch will be held at Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point from 10am-Noon. It will be $25 with an ASU card and $30 without. (Included in Senior Package.) Brunch includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, juice and more! There will be fun and games too!
Senior Checkout and Countdown will be in the Stadium on Monday June 18, 2012. Cap and Gown Distribution will start at 1:15pm at the stadium snack bar. They will cost $65.00 cash if not pre-ordered. Commencement practice begins at 9:00am on Wednesday June 20th in Spencer Stadium. Attendance is mandatory for all seniors planning to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Graduation is Wednesday June 20, 2012 at 4:00pm.
Grad night is all night and parent permission is required. The location, time and cost is TBA but it will begin on June 20th, 2012.
