We have three Marching Band DVDs available documenting the 2007 marching season.
We're asking for a $10.00 donation for each DVD.
This money goes directly back into the Instrumental Music program here at DHHS.
DVD #1 - Picture DVD - $10.00
The "Picture DVD" will probably be delivered as a "package" of two separate DVDs,
but the $10.00 price gets you both DVDs.
There were over 1,700 Marching Band pictures posted on this web site during the 2007 marching season.
The first Picture DVD is a huge slide show that contains all those pictures,
set to music played by the marching band and recorded at the actual games and competitions. For example,
when you're looking at the slide show of the pictures taken at the Temecula competition, you'll be listening
to the field show music recorded at the Temecula competition...
The Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade photos are accompanied by music recorded during those events.
The football game slide shows have music that was recorded at the games...
This slideshow DVD is a true video DVD - it plays just like any video in your DVD player... The slide show is displayed on your TV...
The second Picture DVD contains all of the original high-resolution JPEG files themselves.
Remember, the web site has all pictures, but, on the web, they're downsized to about 1600x1067.
The originals are generally about 3500x2300 (although some are smaller due to cropping).
If you put this second DVD into your computer's DVD drive
you'll have access to the original JPEG files at their full resolution...
These originals are larger, clearer, and more detailed that what's on the web site.
You can put these photos on your PC just like the photos from your own digital camera.
Seeing these pictures in a full-screen slide show on a high resolution computer monitor is very cool.
Trust me. You'll want your own high-resolution copy of these photos.

DVD2 - Videos - Games and Competitions - $10.00
DVD1 has video of the marching band shot at the home games and some of the field show competitions.
I'm still laying out exactly what will be on this DVD.
I have video from all five home games and all five competitions.
Watch the show grow and improve as the season progresses...
The field shows were often shot with two or three video cameras, so
there are multiple views of the shows... very nice.
And there is lots of video of what went on "in the stands."
Drummers doing the cadence... The Fight Song, Hey Ya, Hey Baby, I Get Around, the Alma Mater,
plus my personal favorite "da... da da.... da... da da da daaaa daaaa daa..."
Basically, lots of video of everyone having a great time. :-)

DVD3 - $10.00
DVD2 will be created assuming that we have enough good video to make it.
It looks like it will be made, but I'm still editing video like crazy.
