Instrumental Music Boosters

The DHHS Instrumental Music Boosters work with the instructors and students to help facilitate the music program. There are many opportunities for parents to become active members of the music program. Please contact one of the board members if you are able to help.

What do we do?

We do fundraising so that we can purchase things for the DHHS Music Program. We volunteer our time. We help. We fit the marching uniforms and concert attire to the students, including alterations as necessary. We show up at the performances and events and help as needed. We move instruments into the performance area. We move them back to the Music Room. We help organize trips.

What do we do with the money we raise? We purchase instruments. We repair instruments. We take care of dry cleaning the uniforms and concert attire. We help pay for some of the coaches and clinicians. We've been known to provide muffins and OJ, water, or pizza as required to feed the groups if a practice lasts longer than usual. In general, we try to make sure that the Bands and Orchestras get what they need.
