Dede Bett is fired up with a pleasant
smile to assist students with their
library and computer questions

DHHS Students are invited to use the library computer lab and library resources before and after school.

The library is, also, available during lunch.

At times, students still find it helpful to use books before and during a web search.

Students can make copies of a non computer resource, such as a magazine or book

Although students can print information they locate on high speed printers,
many will take notes directly off of the computer monitor.

Students receive suggestions and guidance from Dana's friendly library staff for the best approach to meet their research needs. The library staff is usually found manning the main desk in the Library where students can get help, and check out books.

There is also a staff media tech available to sign-students-in for a computer station and help with any computer assistance and computer use.

We appreciate your cooperation and help in following the rules of the Dana Hills High School Library.

In order to be equitable, we require all teachers to sign-up for the library at least one week in advance.
We also require that the teacher be present at all times and particularly watch the students while in the computer lab.
Please do NOT send a group of students from your class without clearing it with the librarian in advance. We may have a class already scheduled for that time and we really need you to supervise your students while in the computer lab.
